It's a long long day.
Went to canvass at 7.30am @ Raffles Place. Results weren't even passable, much less acceptable. Ended at 11am. After an impromptu meeting with the family, whom I thank sincerely for their honest opinion, it's time to change, to unlearn and re-learn, just as Bro-Ken said.
Enough of mediocre results from canvassing, with the time I spend on it, it has to be worth the results achieved from it. Gonna dismantle everything and learn from the elites in my family. Thank you guys for willing to take time and make special efforts to canvass early in the morning to show me where I lack in the art of getting quality leads on the streets.
After lunch with an old secondary school mate of mine, Bernard kindly invited me to join his G6 'back-up' training as one of the teachers called in sick. He was touching on the Million Dollar Question which i had previously missed. Once again, his training triggered alot of things i'd learnt in the past few months and it also gave me a chance to reflect on the appointments that I had tried to apply what I've learnt.
Training stopped at 5pm. Went back up to settle some paperwork for cases pending and officially start my calling at 7pm. Stopped at 9pm. Calling was more smooth this time round as I made it a point to prepare a script for the referrals I've gotten. Previously the script was scribbled on my transformation journal, this time, I sat down and penned out one that has the same skeleton but supplemented by the re-newed advices given during Bernard's training earlier on (plus Boss's sharing during a morning meeting she chaired), about focusing on putting across the message more strongly on how the person would benefit from meeting me.
I had Boss's suggested script of handling objections side by side my own script as I called.
Being more prepared, mentally and emotionally, the battle was well-fought.
After the calls, I continued to press on on Facebook chats, where it's more subtle and informal.
Such routine will be continued again tomorrow.
This is a war I want to win, not a just a battle.
And we WILL win.
All in all, I just want to say thank you, everyone.
PS: I miss you too.

As a close friend has so kindly pointed out ... ANYONE .. can lead . just depends on the size of the group you wish to lead .And the manner in which you'd like to lead them . Bloggin , like snoggin , allows the rest of the famille insight to YOUR emotional wellbeing , keeps everyone else healthy as well ... Balanced .
Wing has been leading discipline , never coming late ONCE for anything called for by La Famille in the 8 months he's been here .

How can one forget if day AND night , that's all that she can think of ?... more or less .How truly , does one forget dreams and aspirations ?? you might ask ? when it doesn't come from within .
Your mind lends power to what your attention gives focus on .
If it's pain you're lookin out for , EXPECTING , it's INEVITABLY pain that you'll find .[ works well with betrayal , disappointments , fights , quarrels etc etc ... ]
If it's a CERTAIN amount of success you're obsessed with Day and NIGHT , guess what ? That's what you'll get , the speed in it's attainment only , and i stress , ONLY depends on how much feeling you give to your emotions .
When one sees something or has been suggested something He/She might like to have ...it's EXTERNAL . When , however , the same situations makes that someone think " without attaining this ... i'd be better off dead" . or " My life has been for naught " or " i JUST KNOW i'd be miserable if all i amounted to was_________ " Therein , a Leader is born . Truth then , i suppose to the myth that true leaders are " born ".
Not strange then , some find the greatest will to act or are soonest to act and BEST of all !! and this is classic ! Spares NO Effort and GO THRU the GREATEST lengths in the pursuit of " love" or what one perceives to be " love "~ how many people you know fold a thousand cranes to woo their Girlfriends , Boyfriends back in the school days ?
As an individual operating in a bigger field though... It's our duty to , well , as My dear Friend Lena Goh has so wisely pointed out :

AS i prepare myself to leave the office NOW for the games .. i notice it's raining .. What wonderful weather for a get together !!
